Red Rooster Overtown is proud to welcome back Top Chef Season 22 Winner and former Executive Chef, Chef Tristen Epps-Long, for a special dinner series this season.
Beginning July 2025, Epps-Long returns to Miami as part of his national culinary tour following his Top Chef victory. He’ll bring back signature dishes from his time at Red Rooster alongside previews from Buboy, his highly anticipated Afro-Caribbean restaurant opening soon in Houston, Texas.
This multi-month collaboration will feature:

About Chef Epps
A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Epps-Long honed his craft under Certified Master Chef Richard Rosendale and developed a culinary style shaped by his Trinidadian heritage and a global upbringing in Guam, Japan, and the Philippines. He previously led Red Rooster Overtown to recognition in the Michelin Guide and a spot on Condé Nast Traveler’s “Top 12 Best New Restaurants in the World.” Known for his refined technique, bold flavor combinations, and expressive flair, his cooking continues to evolve with personal meaning and cultural depth.
